“I May Be Bruised, But I Am Not Broken”

This workshop will focus on the challenges that young people go through and the impact of violence and other trauma. This conversation will center around how trauma can disrupt all areas of our lives, including brain development, school, work, family, and friendships. We will discuss the importance of self-expression, emotional intelligence, and removing toxic people/situations from our lives. Themes will include empathy, coping skills, communication, depression, and hope.
